Apart from the Mexican peon, how about a uniformed Mexican (supply wagon for raiding by Apaches, or prison guard).
Or a Commanchero with rifles and whisky - Lee Marvin as Tully Crow perhaps?

The Mexican soldier would be a little 'specialised' I think.
The Mexican Peon is a pretty generic figure, but the soldier is more specific.
That is best left to Boot Hill miniatures, as I am sure all the bases for Mexico will be covered eventually..... ;)

As for a Commanchero, that has possibilities, but I am not that good so he may not look too much like Lee Marvin, he may end up looking more like Marvin Hagler.... :D

I should have something to show later if I get some peace this afternoon.
 ;)

Great ideas here. I do also love the snake oil salesman idea, maybe along the lines of Nigel West Dickens, the fellow from Red Dead Redemption:

Yes, I pointed out to the nice chaos from DMH that they needed a pack of seated wagon drivers whilst I was at Sheffield.  Said he'd work on it.

Something certainly missing at the moment so looking forward to these.

he may not look too much like Lee Marving, he may end up looking more like Marvin Hagler.... :D

Better than Hank Marvin?

Unless you do a singing cowboy (playing a guitar)....

Hopefully you wont have to wait too long... ;)

That is a tempting idea....

There has been a little progress over the weekend.

The first two are just awaiting their arms.... :D

First up is The Mexican...

Secondly, The Scruffy Prospector....

There are five more that have been started, but four of them are mostly just a rough humanoid shape and one, the Lady, that is not far off of this stage but needs a little work before posting.

Hope you like them so far....

Thanks for the encouragement, chaps.
 :D

I hope to get these two finished tomorrow and get another couple started before the weekend.

Fingers crossed....

Mason, a stupid idea. o_o
Why not separated arms, some armed and some unarmed for some miniatures?
That might give the option for armed passengers/drivers or unarmed ones. ;)

That prospector is wearing a pair of serious 70s flares. You been raiding your wardobe for ideas again Pablo? ;)

Great putty pushing, you've got oodles of character in these, especially the prospector. :)

Various reasons why not, chiefly amongst them is that I have already started adding the arms at this point.
It would be easy enough to represent armed drivers by placing a gun next to them on the seat.

Not my wardrobe, as I was just a baby in the '70's.
It may have been yours, though, Grandad.

Thank you, sir.
Much appreciated.

They look very promising Mason  :). And as the instigator to all of this, I will of course stand first in line to pre-order these little people  ;)!!!
