Painted steel fist samurai

Some may have seen this one from the blog, but I'm painting up quite a few at the moment so I thought I would start a thread, this one is a Ii clan officer, here you can see I have added a crest and regular sashimono, to demonstrate how versatile these miniatures can be.

Looks great!  That's his name on the sashimono, right?  Am considering doing some Ii clan miniatures in the future, just want to make sure I am getting the characters right.

It took a while, but I usually have the colour on a wet pallet then do something else on it when I'm bored, and I don't do all the lacing in one sitting.

Here are some more Ii clan first a nobori bearer, I put a steel pin up through the pole on this one for strength, a bit fiiddley though, but worth it as they will bend if suspended this high, and then there is a ashigauru, with the triple flag banner that Ii clan ashigauru wore, and a poor samurai, Ii clan samurai wore rectangle sashimono, but officers could use 3d sashimono.

And yes I think I need to redo the socks on that horse....very bad
