MQ1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) 15mm
« on: July 17, 2014, 09:29:02 AM »
Hi all,
As some of you may know, http://www.eurekamin.com.au/ have a program where by you can request a miniature to be made, from there they normally put the miniature up on there web page and if they get enough requests (commitments to buy) for it, it goes into production, so I have put a request in for an MQ1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), I dont know off anyone that makes them so I think they will be an excellent addition to the 15mm market, I am posting this here to see if there is anyone else that would be willing to commit to this project, the more that commit the more likely the miniature will get produced, so if you want to see one in 15mm please go over there and make a commitment:

*If you would like more info on how this works go to this page http://eurekamin.com.au/custom.php,
*If you are already familiar with this program then go here and make a commitment, http://eurekamin.com.au/index.php?cPath=87_194_728&sort=3a

If you decide to make a commitment please post here so we can keep track, we roughly need about ten people to commit ....  :D

I wouldn't mind one in 28mm. Crashed, so it can be used as terrain in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.  :D

Though I've seen a Revell kit in 1/48 too I believe, which could possibly do in a pinch...

Maisto Tailwinds makes a diecast one with about a 4 inch wingspan, not sure how that works out scale wise.

Cheap planes that you commonly see at Walmart.

I've got that diecast one, and it's better, more detailed and robust, than the revel kit which I also have...

And anway, when it's in top of a very tall telescopic flight stand, scale doesn't really seem to matter as much in my opinion....

There's a 1/72 version out there too.
