Hi all, I've been working on a selection of figures suitable for Rogue Trader and Confrontation/Necromunda gaming over the last year or so; you may have seen some of them over at the Oldhammer and Yaktribe forums. I thought I'd start a thread here collating all the different bits and pieces I'm working on, hopefully as a repositary of periodic updates as I get things done.

First up, 3 figures from my WIP Guilder gang:

L-R: Grigor Klegane (bodyguard); Yakob Pento (Guilder); Gatt Dalvurth (Squat advisor)

Grigor is a headswap on an old Citadel Judge Dredd Klegg, Yakob is from the resurrected Metal Magic Spacelords line and Gatt is a Citadel Squat biker with sculpted arms.

Next, a lone adventurer (taking the role of a Sensei if you're familiar with the 40k background):

Ekros the Eternal is converted from the old Citadel Erekose from the Eternal Champions range. He lost his bear pelt and received instead a new cloak, headscarf, pistol and natty hat!

Finally (for now), my Brat gang:

An as yet unnamed biker, converted from a Citadel Brat ganger and a Squat bike.

And the rest of the gang:

These guys are from various sources, including unreleased and limited edition Citadel, Eldar Harlequins, a Hasslefree barbarian and Victoria Miniatures Imperial noble.

I've got plans for several other gangs, including scavvies and ash waste nomads, as well as expanding the Brat and Guilder gangs too.

Loads more pics on my blog: http://www.magpieandoldlead.blogspot.co.uk/

Hope you like them!

The Hasslefree barbarian conversion is still my favourite, although there is absolutely loads to like here.  Great gs work.

This is a very good example of how you can blend totally different figures together with a consistend paint job. Nice!
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

Thanks for all the comments guys!

I've spent some time painting up a new set of wheels for my Brat gang. I still need to paint up the passenger and driver, but here's the results:

And for comparison, how the car looked after some early customisation:

Here are the results of this evening's work:

One driver ready to roll

And the gang all look suitably impressed!:

Now that is one slick ride you got there. Looking damn spiffy.
Since you didn't say of course someone is going to ask. What is the source for the car?

The car is a 1:48 Hispano Suiza from Matchbox Models of Yesteryear range. It cost £4 on ebay; suitably for a custom car, the upgrades and paintjob cost more than thwarting car did ;)

Car's nice but could do with some metalflake paint and pinstripes.  Proper brat pimp mobile. :)

Just realised you used a nurgle champion head on your klegg conversion.  Nice touch.

I was originally planning flames, but in the end settled on the visual feast of homogeneous bright orange ;)

Call it "Sports Orange", (sorta) like the corvette in Boogie Nights.  No need to Michael Bay it up (poor Optimus Prime...) :)

Paint the roll bar though to match the screen surround and the door handles and the trim strip down the sides.

BLING BLING!
