Some really charming sculpts, and you've done them justice with the painting. I like the bright pallet! I think my favourites might be the cyberdogs too - very characterful for automatons  lol

Looks like I've got a few pages to trawl through to see the rest of your works. Thanks for posting!

Thank you all, gents :)

Today I bring one of this year's BOYL event minis. Though I couldn't attend, I've however managed to end up with this beauty:

You may remember the illustration from the Rogue Trader rulebook ::)

I was so happy of having the mini that it immediately jumped up in the to do list. I went for a warm palette in brown tones, I guess I always thought of the illustration that way, as I really didn't think much of the colours, just happened I had to paint it that way.

You can find it all on the blog as usual...

Back again, and yet with another warrior lady.

Some time ago I got this not-Lagertha by Hasslefree. But I got two copies in fact, as I liked so much the pose that I knew I wanted a sci-fi adventurer:

I cut the shield out from the original, sculpted a (crude to my taste) wristband and used an autogun instead. A ridiculously large bionic eye is the most obvious way of setting her into 40K:

Not much more; I replaced the axe with a knife and added a backpack from the Death Korps of Krieg ranges:

You can find her on the blog. It was quite a quick conversion, as I'm using greenstuff for another different project, so I just got the chance to convert her. You'll hopefully will know what I do have on the workbench quite soon :)

I like what you have done with her, sir.
Nothing like having a completely original miniature, eh?

Thank you!
Here you have stage #1 of my ongoing project. I'm planning a scenario for RT/2nd Ed, in which the Arbites will have to cope with an angry mob of civilians. I have some ideas and the beginning of some special rules for that but... I needed an angry mob of civilians!
I originally had the idea of purchasing the rioters by Offensive Miniatures, but in the end I favoured quantity over any other considerations, and chose the unexpensive zombie survivors by Wargames Factory. Some greenstuff/bits later I've come to this for the moment....

Well, no clear inspiration, just ideas from here and there, as the bits were found in the box ;D

You have them on the blog too. No idea of when I'll be able to paint them (phew!), but I'll keep you posted!

Great conversions, but is it me, or are this guys arm way to long, I know the arms are a donor from a wotc Star Wars mini, but I was just curious if other thought that same?

Under the different conditions and environments of other planets, mankind has diversified from the normal genetic patterns in many ways....I don't see the long arms as wrong at all  ;)
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.
