Where's the train from? I must know!

Looks like a Bachmann 2-6-0 Mogul.

Sorry I have been away for a few days.
Yes the loco is a Bachmann 2-6-0 Mogul, I think it looks just the job.
One of my next games will be derived from 3:10 from Yuma, just working out how to do it.
Now I've got a working loco and a couple of wagons there is a great temptation to carry on and build a layout for it to run on as well. ::)

Hi, I have been lurking around this site since Christmas when I started to get an interest in Old West so I thought I would show a couple of pictures to show what I have got together so far this year.

Still to build Station, Chinese laundry and graveyard, and plenty of civilians and horses to paint; better stop after that as my table isn't big enough.

More pictures to follow when my PC gets its act together

It does get tempting.

If you need to game on the train I have a PDF print out available https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B10ec5W2_HayLV9nNEczNmx0VmM/preview

I found this on pulp alley, but can't for the life of me remember who to credit it too.. But it's certainly useful.
Cheers

Looks like you've got a good mix of laser cut buildings, which company is your favorite? Which one should be avoided?

And while we're asking questions, I just now noticed your blacksmith's shop.  That is a thing of beauty.  Was it it kit, or scratch built, or what?

Don't really have any favourites, I tend to look around and go for what I like.
4Ground are great because they are complete with interiors.
I like Sarissa as they are cheaper and I can modify them to get what I want.
Battleflag look good on the outside but it is a shame there is no detail on the inside apart from the wooden floor.
I went for the Knuckleduster/Tri City Laser stable as it has plenty of flat roof space for figures to lurk.
Next time I buy a building I think I will go for one from "Products for Wargamers" as they are really cheap but look OK when put together.

The Blacksmiths is from Sarissa but I have modified it a bit.
I put in a cobbled floor throughout, roofed over the lean-to roof with coffee stirrers and the pitched roof with some emery paper, added a workbench and anvil and put some in coals for the fire, a lot of which doesn't show in the photos.
The sign was found somewhere on the net.
The blacksmith Angus McPhee is in the process of being painted.

A couple of new arrivals in Trinity.
The Saloon is the building under construction made by Products for Wargamers with added detail from coffee stirrers, tissue paper and some bits out of my spares box.

Does the two-storey Battleflag buildings have possibility for accessing both ground floor and first floor? Or are they empty shells? Can't figure it out from the photos at their site.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
