Zaheer's Weird Wasteland
« on: 11 August 2014, 02:47:52 PM »
I normally try to wait until I have a nice wad of stuff to show before posting project threads (which is why I don't think I have any!), but I'm going to try and change that and post from the outset, so here's to growing as a hobbyist and tapping into the LAF pool of communal motivation.

This project will be largely based on Gamma World, a game I've never played, but I love the background in the books, it's very 'free'. My strategy so far is just to paint whatever I feel like at the time, with a background so open ended and odd I hope my interest will be held.

Here are some assorted desperadoes, peasants and a monk which suggest lots of narratives to me. C&C welcome!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Cool conversions.  Is that rat a conversion to?

The rat's from Megaminis, I'm not sure who has the line now, but I know there's a list of the new owners of their lines on the website. There's a whole range of ganger rats on there! Athropomorphised animals is an aspect of Gamma World that I'll be pursuing with as much gusto as my funds allow.

Looks like the start of a very interesting collection.  Nice pallet of colours too.

Well done!  The bottle caps would make for fun bases, not just something to hold while painting.   :)

Nice job.  I've never seen a Gothrat looking so good!  Another mega mini line I wish I'd purchased when they available.
