These are exceptional!  Your rat and the Clucker are spot on for look and feel for Gamma World & Mutant Future.   I forget who produces the Cluckers, but IIRC these were products of a recent kickstarter?  I think the Rabbits were part of that line as well.  Please remind me the name if you could be so kind?

I am gathering a handful of animal-mutant minis for an "After The Bomb" RPG campaign I'm hoping run with my children next year.  I was exactly my eldest child's age when I started playing Gamma World first addition, so this would be a sort of turnabout life experience for me.  The first three figures I have to get started is Reaper's Last Armadillion, Impact Miniatures Ozzie Platypus, and Reaper's 'Kulan' Snake Rogue.  Like you've shown here I'm planning to have some humans mixed in with muties, to serve as the antagonists.

Please keep up the good work and let's see more Gonzo mutants!

Haha a chicken! Is it scared in fire fights? lol
Very nice start, and I like your idea of an open ended background to let you paint whatever you like.

Cheers

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm cobbling together a few bits of scenery, then I'll base and varnish these and try and post some more attractive photos!

Donkus, they're available from Interloper miniatures, and the rabbits too, of which I have a few :). I'm certainly hgoing to have to get the Last Armadillion!

I like these a lot. Makes me want to run After the Bomb with miniatures, all gluing guns and crude armour to toy cars and scouring the net for mutant pig figures.

No. No no no no no.

Maybe.

Very nice indeed! I have been slowly adding to my collection of post apocalypse figures for Mutants and Death Ray Guns. Inspiring stuff, and nicely converted!

Funny thing you should say that.  My first "Road Hogs" Truck is underway.

Things move slowly in the desert...

I have been tinkering, but have been quite embarrassed about the lack of progress, hopefully I will finish off the widows and orphans on my workbench soon!

The Gama World chickens are awesome!  Who makes them?

I'd like to know as well.

Just heard on NPR last night that the fast-growing, meat-heavy chickens of today are a product of WW2 era engineered breeding.  Who knows what kind of Chicken a dystopian future could bring about?  :D

Love your stuff, right up my alley, I started out with Gamma World and have always loved its
Bizarre take on POstApoc.
Have you tried ' mutants and death ray guns' from Ganesha games ?

It has a very Gamma world feel for tabletop gaming

Brilliant idea backed up with some wonderful miniature selection.

Looking great so far. The bars on the windows are a nice touch, keeps out the little mutants :)

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. A small development; I'm aiming to create a more-or-less 'medieval' village which will basically represent the global average tech level for my formulation of this world. Pots and dishes for street furniture. These were satisfying and fiddly in equal measure so I'd love to be able to copy them somehow.
