Thank you,as for how they're made, I start with a bead or a 'stack' of styrene tubing, you could use anything with a circular section I suppose. You can see a couple of the white styrene stacks in the photo. Add a rim made of solder or other wire (solder is great because it is slightly malleable), as a rim, then add putty to form the proper shape of the pot. Spinning the pot on a cocktail stick whilst smoothing the putty in a similar way to an actual pot on the wheel worked well.

This whole thread is brilliant!  I played Gamma World in the first 3 editions and later played the palladium TMNT/after the bomb stuff.  We never had great minis to use.  You have inspired me to buy some of the chickens.  Well done pjs and terrain Sir!

Another lull, another revival. I feel this thread will be in and out of the grave more often than a zombie on the Simpsons. Most of what I've been up to has focused on creating the scenery and figures which may get used in most scenarios, poor villages and poorer villagers!



A few peons peasants and plebs. I've been trying out some weathering with some cheapo chalk pastels. I'm quite happy with the results!



These granaries are based on a few different real-world cultures. I hope they will be able to do treble or even quadruple duty in Africa, Mars, Old West (perhaps not).



Some bread ovens, two were about as easy as one to make. Perhaps I'll be able to convince myself to get a bit weirder now...
