Well, this is my first post on Lead Adventure. The forum looks like a fantastic place to hang a thread and I hope to take part in lots of discussions.  For now, I have a pressing dilemma.

I'm going to re-run a Crusades scenario at Fiasco later this year. I really like this battle as a scenario because there is so much going on - feigned retreats, both sides trying to ambush each other - it's total madness. However, I've run it before and would like it to be a little different this time and other than running it on better terrain I'm looking for inspiration.

Please, if you have any suggestions as to how I might improve on this scenario, let me know your thoughts. Scenario at link below:

That's proper mad, that is! Fantastic collection, lovely wargames room. I am VERY jealous!

Great looking figures & terrain.  I've been a fan of your blog for quite a while.

Now you've piqued  my interest Ager Sanguinis, which unfortunately appeared in MW years ago.  Any plans to publish or make available the entire Ager Sanguinis series from MW?

I see that the Piquet yahoo group has a few downloads on Ager Sanguinis in plain text, but these don't include the Crusader/Muslim army lists.

Thanks
Clear the battlefield and let me see

Stecal,

I can't publish the articles as they appeared in MW (with layout and pics, etc.) for obvious copyright reasons; all of the hard copy sold out years ago (though, it was available as a PDF bundle from MW at one time and they might still be able to provide it); only the plain text documents exist elsewhere; my permissions from Piquet Inc. do not allow 'full, professional' private publication.

Until very recently I thought that the army lists had been lost when an old computer gave up the ghost. On holiday in France I found a memory stick in a suitcase pocket with the army list articles on it, huzzah! (at least, I think they are the original work). If you want a copy (plain text) I'll send you one. Go to this link for details:

James,

Stop it please, I have siad it before and I will say it again you are The Devil incarnate.  I am trying to resist a 1st/2nd Crusade army using Legio Heroica 15mm but you pictures just keep saying YES!

You ahve already broke me with your Italian War collection and the Punic Wars, I have all the Carthaginain and allies just waiting for the War and Empire Kickstarter to give me my Romans and allies and I'm there!

Love your work mate!

I've just set the Harran game up again to check table sizes for the Fiasco show. I though you might like to see a pic or two.

more pics and some notes on the scenario here:

The tents were home made several years ago.

The shape of the blue one and yellow and red one is card formers (the 'ridges'). The covering is individual paper panels glued on with PVA. Then they were painted in PVA to toughen them up then finished in enamels. I had more time than sense or money back then.

The others are simple card cones.
