Backed the KS - haven't yet received anything or heard anything recently. Though I think they said September when last updated. So not available yet.

Last KS update was late July.

What's a bit worrying is that they said they were about to send the rulebook off to the printer -- but they haven't posted any new updates about that. Even in the best case scenario it seems things are delayed and there's nothing new to tell...

Anyone receive anything from the Kickstarter yet?  Or is total extinction totally extinct?

Seems like totally extinct by now. :(
Nothing on forums, kickstarter, or facebook and they are not answering emails. :(
I've tried to contact them not long ago to no avail.

It doesn't look at all promising to be sure :?

Nobody seems to be able to contact the company (which pretty much boils down to one guy and his wife). The project runner hasn't logged in at KS site since mid-December and doesn't show any activity anywhere else either.

Several people are yelling "we wuz robbed!1!!1" here and there but I'm not buying willful deception angle on this one. I think it might be more @ serious, possibly fatal personal problems. The end result obviously could very well be the loss of the pledgers' "investments" either way. KS as an organization isn't going to help out on this.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if either any further information ever surfaces. The last message claimed books were send for printing in China and it was IIRC a little less than 2 months ago so even if anything like that actually did happen the rewards might well not be ready to ship yet anyways.

It appears that not only the project runner of TE:B4K is quite absent but also "Sentinel Games" is not actually registered as a proper company in Spain. While this isn't necessarily indication of foul play (nor yet am I able to vouch for the person who informed about this) since it seems valid to use a commercial name there instead, it means there isn't any way to determine if the company has gone belly up since it hasn't ever existed as such.

Bro, from what you just mentioned, that 'we wuz robbed!!' is sounding more plausible. I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes the cynics are right.

Not dead but not shipping out stuff either, yet. It should be only a few days until they can start with that tho so maybe there's going to be more news soon. Hopefully also some deliveries as well in not too distant future.

In the case of Maki Games terrain KS that just recently completed however it seemed to take fairly long for their stuff to come out of the customs (in Italy tho, not Spain) so...  o_o

I`m more concerned about this part of update:

We don“t have the Rule Book layout finish so we will start sending the rewards that does not include it.
Which means that there is at least month or two till the bigger pledges (mine included) will start shipping. :(

Situations like this are why I'm increasingly skittish about KS. I think I'm fortunate to only be waiting on two right now. After they arrive, I'm done.

Call me old fashioned, but whatever happened to - you know - having actual product before taking people's money?
