Palisades for a bargain

I came across these in a branch of The Works which is a remainder book shop in UK. It is a child's game called Pick-up-sticks and comes as 41 double pointed sticks in a wooden box (the points are not sharp). Cut into 2 each stick gives you a fence post of about 8.9 cm. I reckon that will give you about 50cm of palisade from the 2 boxes.

And you get a couple of wooden boxes for storage or reuse in other buildings. They are being sold as 2 boxes for...£1.





No doubt LAFfers can find other uses but mine are destined for the Dark Ages to provide cover for saxons.

very useful. I could imagine the gamers of NZ wars could be interested too. Hell, even the boxes alone are cheep for one quid!
