Looking for figures for a World War Z diorama
« on: September 06, 2014, 10:34:57 PM »
At page 274 of my copy of 'World War Z' Brookes describes the new BDU for American troops as being like a SWAT team member's kit. I fancy having a bash at recreating a vignette of the Battle of Hope. So . . . . i'm looking for a firing line of SWAT type figures - some kneeling firing, some standing firing. Alternativelty, figures in jumpsuits might do.

Any suggestions for appropriate figures?

In the pinned Compiled List of Fallout Miniatures thread on this board there should be something suitable wherever Vault Security Forces are suggested. IIRC there's plenty of swat models listed there.

The website isn't working ATM but the assault group has some SWAT models.

Recreational Conflict has Swat

Tactical Miniatures (now owned by Armorcast) Has some really good Swat, and Police Narc Unit which is like Swat, but slighlty dressed down.

The Assault Group has alot of options for troopers in body gear. They might even have some SWAT

The battle of hope? You will need a lot of dead Gs for that!

My impression of the SIR was that it would look a lot like an AK47 as it is described as being mostly wood.

A SWAT miniature with a long sleeved uniform brandishing an AK47 would fit my mental picture of a later war infantryman.

And when you are finished I really want to see pictures.
