Great War Miniatures 1914 Game At Partizan II
« on: September 08, 2014, 12:11:01 AM »
I took a few pics of Dave and Aly's splendid 1914 game at Partizan earlier today, and yes for the eagle eyed Dave has made some casualty figures. I will put a few more on my blog tomorrow at somepoint together with some of the adjacent 1918 game put on by Northstar and Telford S.T.A.G.S and Simon Millar's Pydna game with its cast of thousands, of which Cecil B DeMille would be proud.

How wonderful Phil, thank you for sharing this game.

I love the British staff car.

I like the terrain, very simplistic but effective.

All the best,

Helen

Nice photos, shows that you can have colour in a WWI game.

Guys, are the barricades in the photos from a gaming company? Would like to know if at all possible.

Thank you for the news on the limbers.

Hi guys

Thank you for all the kind words...
It is nice to see some photos ... The one thing I forgot to do on the day :?

Helen...
The barricades were scratch built using 4ground furniture and wagons as a starting point...
The boxes were model railway accessories and the sand bags and mattresses were made from putty.

All the best. Aly

Helen

I think Scheltrum and Empress both make barricades that would be suitable.

We (Scarab) am planning on some in resin, but that won't be just yet

The game looks great..
Kind regards
