Where the Charted Thames does Flow
« on: 08 September 2014, 01:22:48 AM »
At my local club, www.nwa.org.au, we take Talk Like A Pirate Day pretty seriously. So seriously in fact, that we give the whole month of September over to Pirate Wargames. As Empire of the Dead is enjoying a resurgence at the club, I figured I'd run a multiplayer game along the themes of piracy and raiding.
The scenario was a combination of the EOTD Blissful Ignorance mission and the old Necromunda Raid. 475 Shillings worth of Lycoans (My Aquatic Faction in all their glory) had to sneak onto the docks and pick off civilians without being spotted by sentries from two Gentleman's clubs and a Master Criminal Faction. Set at night in a Pea Souper fog, the Lycoans managed to get pretty far before they were spotted and the fight started.

Nice set of photos, definitely need to increase my set of little terrain pieces like crates and boxes, etc.

I was already unable to read Blake's "London" without hearing the Verve's "History".  Now I won't be able to read it without picturing fish creatures attacking!  Curse these mind-forg'd manacles!
Back from the dead, almost.
