EDIT: Aaaarrghh... they're all limited ed. !!
Why on earth does a manufacturer do that with a perfectly sellable product???
"
Because they were made in China under a contract before they judged what the response was going to be. Many MBA buildings were done in very large quantities to keep the costs as low as possible which in turn has caused MBA to still have stock of those items many, many, many years after they were first released. This was a large capital outlay and they really don't want to do that ever again.
This range was done in much smaller quantities and some pieces like the Trading Post and Temple were much more expensive to do and the owners felt that the best way to sell through the bigger pieces was to limit the initial run and make it a limited edition. I don't think they expected to sell out as fast as they did.
We ordered a large amount of the LE items but were allocated 25% of our order.
We do however have the other items in stock (and have restocked) and I have shipped a bunch overseas.
