Favourite Goblin Sculptor - mini advice.

Wow, there is a whole world of goblins out there!  A real eye opener, thank you for your thoughtful replies.

Thanks to the suggestions, I am favouring Hasslefree's Kev White goblins (a little more realistic) and Blacktree. Rackam seems rather hard to get now unless my google-fu has failed me.

The current kickstarter by Minion miniatures (I started a thread about it elsewhere) has some interesting looking goblins, they remind me of the Goblins from the Elder scrolls computer games. A little more GW lotr than GW Warhammer.

Being older sculpts they tend to be on the smaller side, but that just means that you can use the Orcs as bigger Goblins too.

wow, Kev White's offering is impressive, his are little beauties. Personally I imagine goblins a little 'rustic' in their equipment levels, the orcs seem quite 'equipped' in most cases

this hasslefree goblin strikes a good balance in my book, are there other goblins in a similar style with basic equipment?

The asgard orcs do look very sneaky and old school (which i do like too) - might be worth an order.

Or perhaps, pig orcs from otherworld. Their equipment level is about right for dungeon dwellers. - and his skeletons look amazing!!!

Didnt Bob Olley do some samurai types I remember using the above whihc fitted in fairly well with these...correction they were JKev adams too

Yup you are right it was the Nemesis Goblins I meant

Bob Olley also did the brilliant Clan Wars goblin range. They work very well with the Cavalcade ones.

Miniature heroes also sells some very similar to those above. Also you buggers I now have 8 aztec Ocs on their way

Tre Manor does some cool goblins (And excellent orcs!) the goblins are on the small side, smaller than your regular ones. If you look at this thread of mine http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=69009.msg841183#msg841183 you can see them. Except for the leader they are based on 20mm round bases (the leader is on the regular 25mm but he's bigger) I really recommend his orcs though, I have a bunch on the painting table now and they are great.
