vatican side

Vatican is a hill in Rome ... and Vatican City, I suppose, is the little state in the world!

The Papal States was the third largest state in Italy. According to census data of 1853, on an area of 41,295 km2, lived a population of 3,124,668 inhabitants.

I remember some 28mm miniature for italian brigants, I cannot remenber the producer, can somebody help me?

Pierrebi, maybe you are talking about trent miniatures.

I've got them, beautiful miniatures but from an earlier period (french revolutionary war).

it appears they actually wore surplus austrian uniforms, not the green they had been promised

doesn't any conflict need bad guys?

I am actually surprised that papal troops show up quite rarely in VSF and other alternative history settings.

Something to pontificate about at the very least.  :)

Thank You.

IMHO they can work well for a VSF scenery, don't you think so?

Are they 28mm, like Gringo40s, or are they bigger?
