Neapolitan line regiments were Brigaded together
but retained regimental numbers and facings
the brigade collar collar being the defining factor...being a three pointed
flash for the greatcoats
1. RED

3.STRAW/LIGHT YELLOW

5.POLISH CRIMSON
6.POLISH CRIMSON
7.SKY BLUE
8.SKY BLUE
9.ORANGE/AURORA

13.KILN RED (BRICK RED)
14.LIGHT VIOLET (LILAC)
15.LIGHT VIOLET (LILAC
done a lot of study on facing colours
which will appear in my book
as sources vary...best result st present

a simple answer to a complex
regulations is

Fusiliers..DEEP SKY BLUE/ OR MID BLUE
OUTER RING WITH A WHITE CENTER
AND YELLOW REG NO IN THE MIDDLE

Grenadiers...DOUBLE  SPHERICAL WOOL POMPOM
IN SCARLET

Cacciatori..........same but in GRASS GREEN

Hi there.......regarding the Dragoons who were considered as quite Elite
and each regiment was very distinctive from the other
a few points of note the Blue on the coat is not dark but a mid-blue
and OFFICERS would have worn a similar single breasted coat with
Silver buttons and appointments.....piping edge was mid blue to the
facing colour.
1st Reg  SCARLET
2ND Reg Daffodil yellow
3rd mid Grey

enclosed an interesting Garibaldini with a brown blanket
roll.the later in the 1860 campign it was the better the
Redshirts dressed...........from civilian to tres Elegant! :D
