My wife is from Rome - next time we are going there I will have to ask you about any local gaming shops or if there are any wargames shows to visit  :-)

of course Morgan ..i'll be glad to help you ...i just anticiapte you that there is one shop which sell above all minis from UK...
wargame shows..nothing at all in central/southern Italy..you've to look at Crema and Novegro in the north of the country near Milan..
except a pair of nice historical/military museums in Rome..one of which with nice paintings on Risorgimento
