Help! Miniature ID - Alien Beasts!
« on: September 14, 2014, 04:24:41 PM »
Hi all

I picked these 2 models up on ebay recently and the seller had no idea about the manufacture, he said they had been in his collection for years, but no clue on whom produced them! They are really cool models and I'd like to track down 3 more for mounts, so any idea's?????

Cheers

Gary

Which side of the pond are they from?
Might narrow things down a little?

Hi,

Purchased from the UK.

No clues on the underside of the base either, it's all rubbed off  >:(

Cheers

My guess from the sculpting style would be less than 10 years old. SF or Post Apoc rather than Fantasy. The integral base might be a clue. Who still uses those?

My guess would be a range for one of the many wannabe 40K games like VOR or the ones that keep coming out of Scotland....

Definitely cool looking critters.

Those are really cool!  Could work in Fantasy, Sci-fi or post apoc.  Looking forward to finding out what they are.

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

They look great, I'd like a dozen of them to add to my PA caravan train. They'd alos look good with some Kroot riding them for VSF.

I'm with you, HerbyF. Those are UBERCOOL pieces with a lot of potential in various genre. EXCELLENT FIND, King Arthur...they're a lot more fun that The Holy Grail!

Hm, I'm quite surprised that none of our intrepid LAF crew recognize these yet!

Still wondering if someone knows what make these are from? That's a pretty cool figure and maybe someone can point me toward the manufacturer or an equivalent beast?

Cheers!
