No problem, drop me a PM with your email (same for anyone else) and I'll get it done. Will probably be Monday before I can get round to it.

Those might be the same rules as GDW's Last Battle board game/miniatures game.

Gentlemen,

for some reason dropbox seems to be only granting you access to the first file. I'll email you the files in two batches of 4 pages each; you should get these later this evening,

In an attempt to make some background stuff for the campaign, I've been using Photoshop to create material.

Also, is it a better idea to play the starting adventure, or to create a custom campaign. Not all of players want to be Americans, so I'm looking for a different route.

The group I used to play as when I was a teen was comprised mostly of Airmen and a few retired US army Europe solders who had married German women and stayed in the Kaiserslautern area of Germany.

The game was ran by the retires and it used to always gall them how we had no idea of filed craft, or basic tactics. And to make it worst we would actually come out on top whilst doing every thing wrong.  ;D

Nice work on the background picture! Pleae keep posting up any more you do - my Tw2k stuff could do with a morale boost ;-)

Don't forget that most forces now contain a mix of nationalities - so just because they're part of am 'american' unit, it  doesn't mean that you can't field stranded Brits, Polish volunteers, etc etc...

Gents, you should have now had all of the files. There should be a total of 8 separate pages. If anyone who requested the rules hasn't received all 8 pages please PM or email me.

I apologise wholeheartedly for the difficulties - it has been a minor nightmare of hanging emails and disappearing attachments. I sincerely hope some decent gaming comes out of this!

The T-64 sounds promising - are you going to do it in a US camo scheme?  ;)

I'm not sure if it's of any interest, but a couple of guys over at the guild did some twilight 2000 stuff a few years ago. the biggest thread is on their old forum (http://theguild.informe.com/the-twilight-2000-project-dt323.html), although there are quite a few smaller threads on the new forum, I think you need to be a member to get to them...

That's the derelict old forum, I wouldn't suggest signing up for that cause I don't think any admin still monitors that.

The topic, and a few more, were more of a brainstorm of Piers and me to do something communal. Quite fun to do, as anything goes in a skirmish game. I still want to make myself a Giraffe cause I have so many M1 variants in my warehouse, it is not funny anymore.

I also made a Jagdpanzer Kanone with a 120mm gun, a what-if upgrade. We actually used it for a Big Game once.

I really wish someone did a affordable Cadillac Cage Stingray, but it looks like I will have to make the master for it myself.

I still intend to use my more modern buildings and troops for a game, but not anytime soon I'm afraid.

The above picture reminds me that...of course some vehicle names/designations (like M1a2) were applied to "what-if?" vehicles by T2000 that then went on to be used for real (but different) vehicles. I presume that the folks I've forwarded the rules to are aware of that BUT it never hurts to remind people of the bleedin' obvious on occasion  ;)
