Against All Flags - Pirates in September

Hi all,

First post here (besides my introductory post)! This is not the usual board I'll be posting, but as I was involved in the mayhem that was our club's annual piratical event, where better to start?

I had built a brig for use in Napoleonic naval landing scenarios and deceided to enter her in the extravaganza so I could christen her in style! Unfortunately she was sunk a couple of turns into the game, but in the magic of wargaming, she made a reappearance next turn! 

Time ran out before I could fulfil my mission and achieve my objective, but I had a lot of fun anyway!

I want to build some similar buildings... you can use them for pirates, for old west in Mexico, pulp in Andalucia....

Yes, you're right gamer Mac, a modified version ofLoTHS were the rules of choice. Each ship had 12 crew: 3 heroes, 3 musket armed armed sailors and 6 aremed with pistol and cutlass.

Sorry WitchfinderGeneral, I don't know the provenance of the buildings as they aren't mine. I think they are commercial rather than scratchbuilt, but I can't be sure. I'll ask the owner and get back to you.

Not sure about the church, but some of the smaller pan tiled buildings at the back of the town look like the ones available from Games of War.

I've got some of their boats and buildings and would recommend them, good detail and nicely cast.

Awesome! I've missed this event 2 years in a row now. My club membership might be revoked if I'm not careful. 

The French Navy will be there in 2015 with a bit of luck.
