The game worked well, drew a fair amount of interest and received more than one complement. Here a a couple of shots just after we set up. As with the test game, it was Tancred who won the day. Initially the Saracens managed to get the Edessans to fall for the feigned retreat (the rule worked very well, see link to scenario) and Jekermish began his sweeping envelopment with his light cavalry. Then they ran out of steam as the sequence cards failed to fall kindly and the Antiochenes swept into Soqmans flank. That, and a quite devastating charge by Joscelin, at the head of his mixed Frank and Armenian heavy cavalry, which swept away most of Jekermish's heavy cavalry in one great rush decided the day.
