Tanks in 6mm and Empress HMMWV in 28mm...
« on: 19 October 2014, 08:07:02 PM »
Well today was a nice sunny day so in the afternoon I took the opportunity to take a lot of pictures.

To recover from two platoons of 15mm NWE British I was on a sort of 6mm plunge recently. I did another brigade for my 24th Infantry Division in Desert Storm project (H&R miniatures, company scale).

Last spring I also did a full company scale US Army heavy division (the 8th Infantry) for my CENTAG 1987 Project.  The majority of the miniatures are from H&R with some additions from Scotia. In 1987 the 8th Infantry was in transition. The Cavalry squadron was still based on the ROAD model with M60A3 and ACAV, the infantry was still mounted on M113 and the five tank battalions were a mixed bag with two on M60A3, one on M1, and two on M1A1. Camouflage was split between various version of MERDC, M1A1 in NATO camo and M1 in plain CARC green. It had been a quite funny project.

Last week I also I completed the last of my HMMWV from Empress so I took some group shots.

Finally...

the Ariete C1 are available on Shapeways:

As for the Centauro I do not get anything, but because the 3d modeler took the time to do them and proive several pack variations for wargamers, I think it is nice to advertise him.

Here are the blog links:
