Blue!  Blue!!!! It's the b****y desert!!!

No problem Giles I have a few of these but tarted up with a bit of vegetation since I took that shot back in December.

Which reminds me to post some pictures of the whole board and the figures, cards etc.  A job for the weekend once I have finished off the Fort façade.  The good news on that front is I now have the foamboard I needed.  Walls cut out and towers glued together.

Should be complete by the weekend, which leaves me 11 days spare before BLAM.

Really looking forward to seeing the terrain project- any chance of a Step by Step? I ask as I'm about to make some desert terrain of my own.....

Darrell.

Yes and proud of it.   8) 8)

I have taken a few shots of my Fort façade along with some of the detail of the terrain boards as they look now.  Firstly here is the fort façade as a WIP showing where it will fit onto the table.

And here is the finished article, complete with dead legionnaires placed on the battlements to fool the Bedouin.

And here is a shot of how the main fort would look on the table.  As you can see it would completely dominate the table, hence the need for the facade.

Here are some shots of the table layout as it will look at BLAM in about 2 weeks time.

And finally here are some close up shots showing how I added the vegetation to the rocks to make the whole thing look more realistic.

That's all for now.  Hope to bring you some shots to the completed character and event cards later this weekend.

That's a heck of a spread, Gary.
(I think you should bring the main fort along with you, just in case...  ;))
