Egyptian clutter
« on: 25 October 2014, 10:55:04 PM »
Hi all, just bought pulp alley and looking forward to playing my first game next week. In preparation for this becoming my next obsession I have been looking on the net for board clutter for Egypt, ie ruins, tomb fronts etc. can anyone suggest any manufacturers? Also in the dim and distant past I bought a couple of stele from a show I went to but cannot now remember or find who it was - any ideas?
Regards,
Chris

Have a look in a pet shop, the aquarium section will get you some stuff.

Thanks for the replies. Some I had already found but others were new. Tried to make my first pulp lists today - good fun and very addictive.  :).
I feel a new terrain building project coming on.....

Thank you Eric.  I have Seen your epytian wip and, as with all your stuff, I find it helpful and inspiring.  Wish I had the space to do the big tables you do.

Chris

I scour my local craft stores for costume jewelry bits - metal parts, beads, chain, gems, etc.

I have stuff that can be used as baskets, trinkets, urns, bowls, boxes, etc.

There's a "tube" of egyptian statues, etc that's very useful.

Highly recommend the Crocodile Games line, they have very cool egyptian bits.

Can recommend the "toob". I got half a dozen statues from it for a 7th Voyage game earlier this year.

To the right of my 28mm Egyptian archeological dig gallery I have a long write-up that lists the things that I used in my collection.  You can find that write-up at www.warin15mm.com/28MM-Pulp-Egyptian-Gallery.html

I'll chime in with recommending the Crocodile Games stuff - their bits are perfect for Pulp Egypt games!
