They look well painted and I would like to see some close ups, I don't think you have the colour of the slouch hats quite right though. It should be much darker.

Lovely paint job, and the basing is exceptional.  Mind you, I took the opportunity to look at some of your other photos and the quality of your work is fantastic across the board. 

I use Vallejo "English" Uniform for slouch hats, with a band in Vallejo Khahi. 

I've not played Bolt Action, so this might be a daft question, but why does the platoon have just one Bren?

Well painted 28mm historical minis are always really impressive

Basic platoon members armament is rifles and other weapons can be added at a points cost. The Bren in BA is not as effctive a weapon as the MG34 or 42, so many people choose to take SMGs or other weapons to avoid what is effectively a points drain. Not historical but it is a "game".
