How about, what have you used for the base? Surely it's difficult to keep upright?

Not really; as you can see in the pics, the base is rather small.  When visiting junk shops I keep looking out for cheap second hand candlesticks (you know: just a small cup to hold the candle (or tealight) on a wire with a heavy (but either small or flat) base).  Just eliminate the cup, paint & flock and you have a perfect base with a low point of gravity.  I will enlarge this one slightly with a thin metal base though: it stands very well and firm on a flat surface, but I'm not too sure about a flocked gametable with a battle in full swing...

A really nice model and very inspiring. Only think I'd add is some RUST!!! (but you know what my stuff looks like) and perhaps a bit of battle damage etc.. I REALLY like the extendable tail section.

Strangely enough I just found a super soaker in a bin a couple of hours ago....Think I'll have to do my own version. Probably wouldn't have thought of it without your pics though!
