Empress tend to be a bit smaller in my experience. There's some variation from line to line though, so I can't speak for the NWF characters in particular.

I have Empress mixed w/ Battle Honours Brigade and Copplestone,it;s all relative ,once on the table it's only the game that counts. I think they mix just fine.

Fantastic figures and a very useful addition to the force.
Now, we need some Khyber Rifles and Afghan regulars!!!

And frontier characters, and Indian auxiliaries, and...  :)
