Dark Sword Miniatures - Jaime and Tyrion Lannister
« on: November 04, 2014, 02:00:02 PM »
Northstar are now stocking Dark Sword Mins and Nick asked me to slap some colour on a couple of them.

Now, one thing a painter really doesn't want to hear is, "For the colour schemes, here's the models that Jen Haley painted." Great. Now my work is going to be a pale copy of one of the best painters in the world.

Well, it's no Jen Haley, but I did my best.

Well, you may not be Jen Haley, but she isn't you either...you each have your own unique qualities. The Lads, both tall & short, are WONDERFULLY painted & based. VERY WELL DONE in your own style!

Thanks guys, very kind there.

The models have so much fine detail crammed into them, it's like they demand a bit of extra care.

Stupid question: Are these official minis, or just "inspired by"?

I think they're official miniatures, pre-TV series.

I could say that they are lovely. But in comparisson to Jen Haley, they look finger painted.
No just joking, they are more than fine :-*
