Lone Wolf Miniatures?
« on: November 08, 2014, 09:12:30 PM »
So I am of the generation that the "Lone Wolf" books had a big impact on my early steps into gaming, I love Gary Chalks art and have been inspired again by this https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1615043334/lone-wolf-the-board-game If only they were miniatures and not card cut outs  :(

So looking for good inspiration for "lone Wolf" miniatures (wish I had kept my citadel set from all those years ago!!) Any links or conversion ideas greatly appreciated especially for Giaks!! I will game this!!!!

Thanks in advance
FFF

I'm sure I saw a Lone wolf and cub miniature in aid of Kev Adams on a retilers site, though I'm not sure which one.  I'll have a google see if I can turn it up for you.

My mistake: it was for the 'Help for heroes' charity and it was Black Cat Bases who did it, who unfortunately seem to be operating from an impenetrable communications blackout at the moment.

Well it was ALMOST helpful!

Yep, A different Lone Wolf. Very interesting by the way.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I also loved Lone Wolf (and Greystar).  I still have a fat stack of the gamebooks and my Magnamund companion book (with the Giak language in it!), and am always on the prowl in used book stores to complete my collection.  Thanks for the link to the KS.  I am going to back that for sure.  I don't mind the cardboard as it captures the original artwork well.  Nostalgia overdose.  Sorry I can't help with the miniature suggestions although the KS pledge level of $58 has a 28mm Kai Lord mini included.
This is my boomstick!

That board game kickstarter looks good.

I'll have a browse in the attic as I'm sure I have some somewhere.

There are some nice minis.
Any idea how they scale up against the old Citadel minis, Dave?
