It doesn't have to be an Elvish Death Squad ;) Security forces and toymakers, along with reindeer, are fine :)

Maybe Lord Curr wants to rob Santa's Workshop ...

I once did a Santa rescue where all Santa's elves had turned zombie and even his reindeer where undead. Santa and mrs Santa had mutated into bodybuilders and the players had to rescue  him to win. GASLIGHT. Its fun!
