RAFM Mi-go's

I gave a quick paint job to a couple of RAFM mi-go from last year Indigogo campaign. I'm not specially satisfied with how it turned out, but since there are not so many pics of them available online, I thought some people would be happy to have a look at them anyway. They are very usable figs. They are nicer than the old RAFM mi-go, and are definitely one of my favorite options for these creatures.

Nice paintjob! Suitably unearthly!
But I really, really prefer the old sculpts to these. The wings and head are not to my taste on this one.

Maybe some red and green washes to smooth out the colors? Army Painter Quickshade Inks has some good red and green inks.

How much mixing / blending do you with the wet palette? I usually put two shades of color on it, start with the darker color (sometimes diluted with a wash) and work my way up to the lighter color as I add more paint to the brush.
