Vintage Star Frontiers Megasaurus.
« on: November 22, 2014, 05:12:44 PM »
Been having a bit of fun painting some Star Frontiers minis and finally got around to this massive hunk of lead. I really love this mini but he's too cute to be the monstrous killing machine he's supposed to be in the game.

Good thing Dralasites are so chewy.

Where are the dralisites from??

They're early Star Frontiers minis. From the Player Character and Space Farers boxes.

Excellent.  The PJ is great and really works on that mini.  It's nice to see old-school lead get some love.    That's one of the few Star Frontiers minis I don't have.  Looks like I will have to troll ebay for one!  Well done.

Lovely work, but yes like you say a little too cute to be a menacing monster.

Oi! :-* A half-dragon, half-kitten. It's so cute! Even if he chews you to death.

I never cared that much for the range, but you've brought something out in that beast. I especially like the 'leggings'. "Oh, my, it's as soft as cornsilk." "*MUNCH*"

Cuteness could be workable. Needs a young lass that it protects, though not Anime-ish. If this were the VSF forum, I'd suggest a prim-and-proper schoolgirl.

Well done!

I love that mini. You've done such a nice paint job on it that I'm thinking about stripping mine and starting over. I love the player characters too.
