Queen and country Miniatures, a new company just starting out providing 28mm Brits in home service uniforms with a nice choice of separate heads: Spiked helmet, bearskin, Glengarry or Pill box cap.

My only reservation is the officer, which could use a much more dynamic pose.

I think thats because its a separate head and it probably needs to be fitted properly.

They certainly have charm, if they had been around five years ago I think they would have cleaned up - there were endless posts asking where to get some.

Do we know who is behind them and the sculptor?

Morning all. These minis are mine - well, mine in that I commissioned them (I literally have no skill as a sculptor). They were sculpted for me by eBob. I've always wanted to produce my own line of figures so this is me living the dream!

Hadn't noticed the neck, I suspect it's the photo, although it's the first figure I put together. I angled the neck so that it looked like he was aiming down the barrel and *may* have overdone it. There are photos of unpainted figures on the website www.queenandcountryminiatures.co.uk please feel free to take a look at those.

Lots of ideas for future releases, but really does depend how these sell...

Where to start!

Guards infantry would be quite easy, just a few tweaks to the existing dollies.

Would like to do cyclists (including a cycle towed machine gun)

Artillery and cavalry are on the list

Coming from the Isle of Wight and being surrounded by Victorian defences I'd also like to do some Coastal artillery and crew, but that's way down the list

All needs to be self funding though, so it'll be a case of ploughing any profits back into the business.
