Think I agree, might sound daft but the Mars troopers and the police especially would be better with the Martini-Henry

Look very similar to the other Mars guys he's done, although the pipe to the gun is new, maybe it's a support weapon?

Have to say, I really like the police  :D  Have no use for them right now but I like them.
So many projects..... so little time.......

The two Mars troopers on the right will go nicely with my existing unit. Bring 'em on - but fast, in time for next year's big game ...

If the Mars Troopers had Martinis they would just look like ... troopers.  It is the weapon that makes them VSF.  Question though, why the strange yellowish color people seems to be painting their shirts ?  (Just received a complete group of them also, and I plan to paint the shirts like the typical light grey or off-white undershirt Victorian troops wore under the uniform tunic - the officer with the prosthetic leg will, of course, be wearing his much-faded scarlet tunic).

Indeed, they'd just be camel corp if they had a martini. The buff shirt was Cubs' paint job, I don't know if it was asked for by Mike/Nick or if he decided on it, people have tended to follow it as it looks good I think.

If used for IHMN, I imagine the weapon would be an arc rifle.  Any thoughts ?

I'd probably still use it as a military rifle, it's just had a magazine upgrade. Although the new ones have cabled guns so they could be arc rifles. That said, use them as anything you want :)

I do like them bobbies, would be a nice addition to the Supernatural Branch.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

Just to be different, I went for grey shirts with reddish trousers :)

I think they're great. I'll get them. I don't really understand the "ostracism" between vsf, steampunk and gothic horror victorian fantasy variants. I think they blend quite well altogether. Policemen are especially nice IMHO.

Nice job Bullshott - they look very frontiersish (is that a word?) indeed.
