Old Glory Huns?
« on: 03 December 2014, 08:29:33 PM »
Does anybody know sites or blogs with nice pictures of the Old Glory huns? Or any of their Fall of the West ranges for that matter.
I just can't find any! How big or small are they anyway?

I bought some of the Arthurian packs. Figures aren't bad but rather small compared to Gripping Beast, Musketeer or Black Tree.

I have some Old Glory Goths and they are a good fit with War-games Foundry. The  horses in the pics above look the same style/similar poses as my Goths. The Goth figs are OK and paint up fine - the certainly don't suffer against Foundry too much once painted. I did have to remove stirrups off the Goths though.

I have some Old Glory Sassanids which I am comparing to Foundry Late Roman clibanarii and the new the Aventine Sassanids. All are roughly the same size, with the Old Glory being a little smaller. The Foundry and Aventine have more character and detail, but when painted up the Old Glory are quite usable. The weakest part of the Old Glory cavalry are the horses, which tend to be quite thin.
