When was the Martian Invasion?

When did the Martian Invasion occur in the world of IHMN? I'm interested in working it into the background of a company that's in the process of being made but I'm not quite sure when its supposed to of occurred, I guessed the 1880's but I could be wrong.

Hasn't been published yet. The Martian stuff is an alternate time line from the 'normal' background I believe. In the Martian invasion time line, the world has suffered.

The Martian Invasion is an alternate timeline for those who want to indulge themselves in heat rays, red weed and noble resistance. It happens in 1899.

WSSs first issue in the new year shall contain the fruit of our labours, with extra supporting material on their website. We are in the process of reviewing the layouts with the editor, the inestimable Mr Bowers.
