Modern/Ultra modern beds for 28mm
« on: December 05, 2014, 10:03:40 PM »
I thought I found them and ordered two (or three, can't remember) from Antenociti. But they sadly informed me that they aren't producing those anymore. Which is a great pity since they were more perfect than my child. Alright, that last part was a wee bit ott.
Anyhow, my new fab project needs 10, at least, beds!
I know, there are some from 4ground and the building authority, but they are not making the cut to be honest. The ones from Antenociti looks like this, and I need something similiar. Price isn't an issue.

I do not know if these will help. not quite what you are looking for but it might help.

I just picked up a set myself.  The beds are loose and the frame is only laser cut acrylic.  9 to a pack and you get some nice lockers with.  Their med lab set comes with three also.

The parts I received were good kit.  Very few air bubbles and clean lines.  Hope that helped.

They don't look too hard to make! Is time an issue? I'm sure you could build better yourself easy!

Bluntly put, the Antonicity ones look dead simple.

Get a suitable sized strip of wood from the hardware store and cut blocks off it as the base.

Cut a slightly smaller piece of cardboard (thickness to taste) for the mattress and wrap some tissue around it for the sheets. Soak with white glue.

Add pillows and accessories to taste.

Anyway, that's how I'd do it.

If you want the sheets to go over the sides, it's even simpler.

What Maxxon said, just a little plasticard and putty and Bob's your uncle! For a fraction of the cost!

Oh I could. But, knowing myself, I'd do it all to exact and I'll ADD after a while ;)

Fortunately, Jimbibbly has decided to do the beds and cast some up for me :) That is a lot less effort! :D

Cheers for the tips all everyone!
