WONDERFUL new additions! The Evil Elves (aren't they all) & the Hobgoblins look SPLENDID...GREAT brushwork & LOVELY bases...love the Hobgoblin mushrooms. VERY WELL DONE!
It's probably twenty years since I painted some of Grenadier's Hobgoblins. They were a joy to paint as I recall; AND they sold right away...it's one of those sales I regret now.

Thanks for the nice comments. The ever evil elves were great fun to paint and the hobgoblins above even more so.

Some new old lead for this thread. Three trolls from RAFM Miniatures. I like these models a lot, especially the horned, lanky one sold as a "Plague Troll", and I’m quite happy with the result of the paintwork. They will be serving as gargantuan, ancient ghouls in an Oldhammer scenario we are to play in September.
Any thoughts?

Cheers

These are damn cool. I've had an eye out for those trolls for a while as well. RAFM should get an EU distributor!

Ow, yes, those Rafm Trolls. Great figs ( especially the stooped one, he is still on my wish list ) and an interesting pj. As ghoulish Trolls, they do serve quite well but I would go for another, more darkish colour scheme. But that of course is a matter of personal taste  ;).

Edit: What the Affunmeister said. Get a distributor and get those models across the pond  :D.

Thanks for the comments to the both of you. These are indeed very cool minis and I completely agree – RAFM should indeed have a European distributor as well.

Darker flesh would certainly have worked as well.

The thread opened on the first photo. A quick intake of air - nice painting (particularly the white).

Thanks mr. Lucky. Glad you like the Work with the White, it's such a tricky colur.

I'm not sure I catch your drift here.

That first photo was more impressionable than I thought it was going to be before opening the thread.

I had a chance to finish these three glorious mummies this week. There are such great yet very simple models.

Just finished the Nosferatu from Foundry. It more or less looks like all the other Nosferatu miniatures around but nevertheless it still has lots of character. I love the hump! The paint job is fairly conservative but was fun to do.
