Reminds me a lot of Old crow. Is it a updated version of the mould or something like that?

On a second look, not as similar as I first thought, but the same name. Is ainsty doing their own version of old crow stuff now?

I really like them! And yes, the front is quite similar to the Old Crow Half Track!

Wouldn't stop me buying them though! I don't mind the treads, its essentially two tracks.

Really dislike the treads.

+1

the whole purpose of tracks is to lower the pressure of the vehicle on the ground, by splitting 'em you cancel that effect.  :?

Definite Old Crow vibe going on there, which I approve of.

Not a fan of the treads either, really, it would look better as a 6x6 with wheels under there.

What about just mounting them upside down? More like a Snowcat? I take it the tracks go all the way around and don't just stop when they go into the mudguard?

Good suggestion, but even then, I think the wheel should disappear to place both tracks pieces as far as possible from each other, which is the case with the sno-cat.

Just had a look at the TMP thread with these on and, it appears the tracks of the Half Tracks in this thread are on the wrong way around...

Just check out the Hammer Slammers Thunderbolt PDF....

The tracks do look odd to me, even the more practical reversed orientation. Seems like an example of making something look odd just for the sake of saying "it's more futuristic like this."

Yep, this is how I feel about it. Nice model otherwise though.

I think you could really say that about sci fi vehicles generally....

Would it be better with skulls, eagles, and a 1918-style makeover?

Saw these up close in Warfare, they are really nice minis (debates over tracks aside).

Hope there will be more of this to come :-)
