With a Sci-Fi version of SS&SS about to emerge from the cold depth of space, where no-one can hear you scream, it is time to dust off my 15mm xenomorphs project.

Seeing all your XWING game posts reminds me how long it has been since we last played.  Need to break that our again.

Good luck on the hunt for the correct box.  I just did that for a pirate game my friend wants to play, took over an hour to find the correct figures.  On the plus side the storage is organized again.

I know that feeling - but actually this time it was hiding in plain sight, just like the question.

I hope to find time to look through the box and plan what to prep and paint first. I think I should get 20-30 aliens done before painting the heroes (USCM)

As soon as I have cleared most of the plastic sitting on my prepping station away, I shall start cleaning and basing 20-30 of these (at least). Can't take that long with this scale

Got a little something in the mail today.



I am going to play my first games using WotC prepaints, while I get some of the multi-part minis assembled and painted.

One of the next days I should receive a shiny new 3D printer, so that I can also start making terrain on the cheap.

I imagine them on the side of the playing area, not directly in front of the players (would be impractical).

Can't say for sure, until I have printed it - Cura is not giving the precise printing time (probably due to not quite up to date firmware, or something), but going by the print times given, 24+ hours (and that's with resolution 0.2, I dare not think how long it would take with 0.15 or 0.1). Including walls, roof, and either a closed or open blast door (I'll probably print both).
