(COMMERCIAL) Monolith Design is alive and well
« on: 10 December 2014, 04:42:51 PM »
I just want to report that I decided to take a chance and place a decent size order from monolith design in the UK.  I used the email link to contact their customer service and reached Xander who must be a relation of the original owner. I received prompt, courteous service and communication and the merchandise shipped and was received within three weeks to the United States as he promised.

Merchandise was well packaged and generally of good quality with an average level of casting (A few rough spots and air bubbles on a few pieces but I'd say about 80% very good.) My only caveat is that the buildings in the Egyptian range run small, more like old-school 28mm or even 25mm so they won't work very well with modern 28s if you are a stickler about the miniature actually looking like it could fit in the building ;)

Overall I'm very pleased with the transaction, and would not hesitate to order again. I thought I would let you know as I know there were a few people who were curious about whether the company was still in business.
