Otto - a Veteran Grenadier joined my DAK-Troup.

For this Figure i used new color-combinations. Fortunately they works fine.

More Pics from Otto are on the Blog.

Next to my DAK-Figures i am working on a Opel Blitz too. The first paint is on the model and now i will start with my first weathering try. On this WIP-Status i have start to make some chipping.

next i will try out filter and washes from mig jimenez.

more pics of this WIP Opel[/url] you find on my blog.

So, it's time for the first weathering steps - i ever did. i never before works with ak interactive enamel tools. but it's really funny to handle white spirit and oil washes and others.

at this stage i used dak filter and dak wash from ak interactive and the look of the opel blitz changed dramatically.

More pics of the truck you can see on my blog..

Mod Edit: No swastikas, please. That includes the one in the Afrikakorps palm tree (tree without swastika is fine).

Great looking figures, it will be really good to see some against a desert background.

Dans les situations critiques, quand on parle avec un calibre bien en pogne, personne ne conteste plus. Y'a des statistiques lŕ-dessus.

Thanks! I too not really like to paint plastic minis  ;) i tried it several times but in compare with metal i like much more to paint metal figures. So my second army, i will paint ( and i have already bought) are the WWII frech legioners from perry - in metal  :D

Raif - have you seen the new version of Op Squad has been released? Called Operation Evolution. It's on offer at Wargames Vault.
Great painting by the way.
John

Thanks god, in the last days the temperatures drops in the attic. So finally i could use my paintdesk again. :-) I could finish two miniatures - Karl-Gustav - the seargent of my troup and Georg a further grenadier.

btw. for the photos of the two boys i used the first time a own photobackground. I guess it was a step forward to achieve a better photoquality.

More Pictures - with the new background - you can find on my blog.
