I played my first game of Operation Squad last night.
Really enjoyed it.

I've played two games myself and think it's pretty good fun. I ended up buying some of the 1/48 Tamiya WWII figure kits to use for my games. Mounted on 25mm rounds they work really well, and matched up nicely with the various weapons options in the core rule book.

It's a tough game to get folks to try out, but well worth the effort. Glad to see someone else playing it!

Love this game. Our club has switched over almost entirely to Bolt Action so I doubt if I will get another game.
Great set up by the way.

Was this the original Operation Squad or the updated Operation Squad Evolution?

(Is OSE that much different?)

Thanks

Thanks all.
All credit for the miniatures and models goes to General Ballroom. My US boys are currently AWOL in the loft somewhere.

I thought it was a good game for the scale and period.
For bigger engagements I'd probably go Chain of Command, but for a couple of squads it's great.

I'm afraid I don't know! Gen B has the rules. I'll ask him when I see him.

OSE is easier. They removed a lot of unclear nests and the vehicles are better integrated in the rest of the rules.
