Oh yeah! Like the blue on the 'Captain's' jacket... Very smooth.

Thanks folks!  Having issues with Pulp Girl's coat though.  Just can't get that brown to take wash well!
Blotchy!  Really happy with the red leather.  The pic just doesn't show it well.

Really cool paintjobs. Especially love the colors on all of these! Original, vibrant and well done.

@gary42: Have you tried Citadel Devlan Mud Wash or Army Painter's Strong Tone Wash?
Another option is to buy Citadel's Lahmiah Medium; a medium with which you can turn any color into a good wash. Works really well.

I used army painter flesh wash on a mid brown. It worked well on everything else but Pulp Girl's coat!.  Interesred in the lahmiah medium!  I'll have to try the darker tones.  Thanks for the tips!

nice job on Ace and capt.

i use army painter soft tone and it works well for almost everything imho.  you can also thin it out with a couple of drop of water for lighter or do a couple passes of it for darker.  the old GW 'sepia' wash was good too - miss that one.  for more specific purposes i've used the not so new GW delvan mud (darker) and gryphone sepia (more red).
