Realm of Chaos - Tzeentch Warband (added dark elf sorceress)
« on: December 19, 2014, 11:28:38 AM »
Here the Tzeentch Champion for my Realm of Chaos warband.
I chose the 1994 Aekold Helbrass miniature, and will add three 1994 Dark Elves Black Guards as his initial retinue.

I tried to paint it with an old school paint scheme.

My name is Moserath from the House Uthorin.
I was destined to become a member of the feared and respected black guard at the service of our Witch King Malekith.
But the Lord of Fate, Tzeentch, had planned a different destiny for me.
Now I follow the path that HE showed to me.
Follow a GOD whose gifts are generous is far greater reward than only be the servant of a mortal King.

The Beginning: Moserath was an aspiring Black Guard of the Dark Elves.
During his training, he received the call of Tzeentch come from the realms of chaos over the watchtowers.
Before completing the bloody ritual that would make him a black guard, he betrayed his oath to the Witch King.
Three fellow black guard trainees joined him.

Moserath the Guard of Change, Champion of Tzeentch,
also know from the dark elves as "the Black Guard Renegade"

The Old Chaos Boy painted up SPLENDIDLY...GREAT brushwork & COOL color choices. VERY WELL DONE!
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

That's lovely, great old scool paintwork. It seems to me I'm browsing through an older White Dwarf :)

That really is just fantastic.  :-*

I have never been a fan of those figures, they just seem too chunky to me, but your paintjob has totally changed the look and feel of them. Absolutley wonderful.

I concur with the Prof. - total Golden Age 'Eavy Metal there.
