Just a shame GW are getting my money, I'd vowed never to go to them again after my only visit to a GW in 16 years, (smelt of odd children and sweat....) but I guess I'll relent this once!

Sadly you'll either have to get them to mail order to your address - and pay postage on top, or have them sent free of charge to your local GW. Either way, potentially painful, but if you send a trusty child in to pick them up, at least your nose won't be offended 

Being a parent, I'm used to these smells and the incessant whining and demands for your attention.....

I have seen them used to convert a non-GW figure and they looked quite snazzy, but I've no idea where I saw this marvel. I made a mental note of them , but forgot what figure they ended up on. Sad

Just flipping thru the new 'Reaper' miniatures catalogue and they have a 4 pack of demon wings...no idea on size but they look pretty good.

Those are rather nice Argonor, if my current plan fails I think I may be tempted to buy them, but more on that in a minute.

You lot must be psychically attuned to all things lead, I'd not done anything on the big fella for ages, then started on him again last night. My Snotling Halfpipe, or Snotpipe if you will has been taking up quite a bit of time (it's almost done now, so will have to show it off else where on this here forum).

My current plan is to follow the advise in the link supplied by gauntman,

I ended up going back to this site from time to time and have decided to have a go at making my own wings. The first attempt was awful, but a good learning curve. I'm not used to just greenstuffing or milliputing onto a wire frame, but with the help of some handy fine gauge wire mesh and a mix of green and milli I think I may be able to knock up something half decent.

As for the rest of the big guy, he's coming along now, his head is bigger and the beak has reduced a bit, so no more demonic Daffy Duck (but its so tempting to make one of them now). Started on the tentacles, with more of said wire mesh rolled into tubes, seems to work kinda well.

I'll try and get some more WIP pics up tomorrow when I get a chance!

Once again thanks all for the ideas, they come in really handy to a reborn mini mutilator! If these next wings dont work, think I'll have to rely on the powers of the net commerce.
