Well I took a break from these for a week or two but now I'm back at them. Nine more Paras this time all in berets to add to the first lot. There's a couple of command groups and a Bren team. I've also put a photo of a section of Paras moving on the table with a mixture of the first figures and these new ones, why? because I like the look of them in the photo lol.
There's also some rear shots to show my take on the Denison a bit more. Hope you like them,

Jeff

Superb.  :D

That beret colour is spot on. Really well done.
Ray.

I like these a lot. Always liked the look of British para's. If I ever collect a 28mm ww2 force I will certainly be looking to these photos for inspiration.

It would have been a bit draughty lol.

Thanks Carlos and have a look at the earlier tutorial I posted for the paints I used.

Sorry Jeff,I completely forgot to post a picture of how I did mine.I was sidetracked with building longships( I did get some out to send you a pic or two,and left them on the workbench ((there in the background of one of the longship pictures lol)),and I couldn't recall why I'd put them on the bench until I saw your latest post.)So here's a belated old pic'.
Have you any support weapon's sorted yet?If not I'll send you one of mine.(Not a PR stunt I've been paid for them, and it'll be one of my own copies as I include a couple in the price of a sculpt.I sent a chap on the forum a couple of K's to mount on his jeep's ,so I don't mind doing it for someone I know who would do them justice, and not just turn them around on ebay)
A 6pdr (with the correct muzzle break and stepped shield, alot out there are wrong)
Or a M1A1 on the M8 carriage( which is correct for the british glider's not the M1A1 which is air portable, not air bourne )
I'll have to give you the 75mm crew in battle dress and shirt sleves as thats the only crew I've left lol.
Mark.

Another 10 done, some of these have no equipment, which gave me a chance to have a go at the Denison. Hope you like them.

Another 10 done this week so I only have 5 more to paint and then I've finished these Denison wearing devils for a while anyway. Some more officers and characters and a flame thrower, don't know about you but I wouldn't fancy having a tank of fuel on my back with a lot of lead flying around.
